Students reflect on their favorite years of the past decade

It’s official, our childhood is now over. It’s not just a new year, it’s a whole new decade. The possibilities are endless. Now that the last decade is over and the new one is beginning, some students are scared, and others eager, for what lies ahead of them.

But this past decade was exciting, & full of tons of trends. Several students discussed what their favorite year was and what made it their favorite. Click on a question to read more.

 

 

What was the best year of this past decade, in your opinion?

“TikTok, the middle part of the hair. For some reason the mullet? VSCO girls and E-girls…” Nick (2019) “I remember in 2016 being in middle school and everyone was wearing skater skirts. “I watched a lot of horror movies, The Conjuring is probably my favorite.” Payden (2019) “Marvel and the X-Men movies. I was really big in Wolverine and Harry Potter movies.” Joseph (2014)  “I kinda just watched whatever was on TV or whatever came out in the movie theatres.
