How do you feel about the school district’s decision to halt school until April 24?

“I feel like it was a good idea but now that we have no work to do or attempt, we’re all sitting around wishing school was back.”

How has this virus affected your life (other than school) and what has family done in response?

“I can’t visit my grandma and my baby cousin that lives with her which is pretty upsetting. Although I still go to my best friend’s house, that’s really it. My family has just now become concerned about hygiene products because of the crazy shoppers.”

Looking at all the grocery stores, do you think some people’s response to this virus is necessary and why?

“I think people who only buy a few more than they need is okay but everyone who buys immense amounts of supplies isn’t good. There are families who are now suffering because they didn’t have initial panic like others did and thought there would still be supplies later on. And the elderly cannot buy these materials either now and it affects them more than it will us.”
