A Day in Quarantine
Students share their experience of being in quarantine
As we all know, we started off this school year on Level 2 (hybrid schedule). But on Oct. 19, we moved to Level 1 which is in-person 5 days a week. Since then, the amount of students that have to be quarantined has grown exponentially.
“As of the start of the new all in-person schedule, there have been at least 200 students that had to be quarantined,” principal Mr. Edgar Nelson said. Not everyone, however, gets quarantined because they have the virus. Most people get quarantined because they are exposed to someone who had it.
“If you’re within 6 feet of someone who has the virus for longer than 15 minutes, then you have to be quarantined,” Nelson said.
