One With Art
Cleo Mozolewski
The original plan was to go to the City Museum, but after unexpectedly changing, Mozolewski decided to go on her own to the St. Louis Art Museum.
“My skip day has been fun. The people I was planning to go with decided last minute to go to school/ CAPS anyway, so I went to the STL Art Museum instead,” Mozolewski said.
Not bummed by the cancelled plans, Mozolewski enjoyed the art around her. She had never been and she comments on how much she enjoyed it.
“It was very nice, pretty quiet… I got a lot people to startle because they didn’t hear me come over to look at the sculpture or painting they were viewing.”
She loved how interesting the art was and she even learned new things along the way.
“There was also this beautiful jacket in the display room next door, it probably should have been in the history museum. It’s a European style coat made through Native American materials and sewing styles.”
Arti Franklin ended up spending their day creating the art with a piece they titled “Just Normal.” They also spent the day sleeping in and enjoying much-needed rest.
