Gaming is one of the many passions for Liberty students.

Josef D’Angelo is just one of those students here who has a passion for gaming.

Gaming Club is a club where students can hang out and play video games. For the past two years, D’Angelo had an idea to have a club where he can hang out with friends, so he decided to have a club that many people will enjoy. Gaming Club was born.

Last year was the first year that it was established. D’Angelo’s role in gaming club is to make sure that people are having fun in the club.

“It’s always fun playing [games] with others,” D’Angelo said.

D’Angelo loves playing games and his favorite is the Halo franchise.

Tyler Blackmore is a freshman here at Liberty and his passion is also gaming. Some of his favorite games are Minecraft, online games and platform games.

Gaming club also has a new sponsor, Mr. Hendricks, who was happy to take over the position.

“I stay after school, so why not open my room?” Hendricks said.

Mr. Hendricks doesn’t know much about games, but he does love technology.

Gaming Club meets on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:20 p.m. in Mr. Hendricks’s room 216. About 20 people show up to share the passion of gaming with D’Angelo.
