Ready To Show Some Spirit
All you need to know about this week leading up to the winter formal
Are you ready to show some school spirit? Well, today’s your lucky day. Liberty High School is holding a spirit week to celebrate the school’s very first winter formal. Get ready to show some color.
Spirit Days
Monday: Who memes the most to you? Meme day
Tuesday: Team up against Cancer! Jersey day
Wednesday: Who’s your bay? Beach day
Thursday: Who do you fight for? Choose a color of the cancer that affects you
Friday: Red Out for the Coaches v. Cancer game
Be sure to take a selfie of your school spirit throughout the week and post it on Twitter at #SPIRITLHS or DM LHS on Instagram for a chance to be crowned as spirit king or queen. The competition is not just limited to students. Teachers are welcome to join as well for a chance to be the spirit teacher.
Spirit week will be a four day school week, kicking off with a Monday late start and meme day. With no school on Friday due to a teacher professional development day, the pep assembly is Thursday afternoon.
Be sure to show up at the Red Out basketball game on Friday. The varsity girls team plays Washington at 6 p.m. followed by the varsity boys game against Washington at 7:30 p.m.
The winter formal dance is Saturday from 7-9:30 p.m.
