Subject/Area of Expertise: Special Education and the On Campus Work Experience Program

What was your favorite subject in high school and why?: “Business was my favorite subject in high school. I was involved with DECA at Timberland; marketing came naturally to me.”

What do you like to do in your free time?: “I like to stay busy so I do a lot of odds and ends tasks, but I do like to do vinyl projects or take trips with my friends.”

If you were not a teacher, what would you be?: “A marketing analysis, my degree is a BA in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing.”

Why did you become a teacher?: “I always wanted to be a teacher, I love the opportunity of being able to inspire and encourage students to learn. When the students are happy and see that learning has a positive feel, they become so engaged. That is one of the best rewards a student can give a teacher.”
