Publications Adviser

Journalism, Online News, Magazine, Yearbook & Broadcast Media

Jonathan Hall enters his 22nd year as a classroom teacher and 20th as a student publications adviser. He has served as the adviser for Liberty Publications since 2015. He previously taught at McCluer North High School in Florissant for his first 10 years as a teacher. Hall graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a journalism degree in 2000. He also has a degree in history and master’s in educational leadership. Prior to teaching, he was a sports reporter for the Alton Telegraph and Edwardsville Intelligencer. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to various national parks throughout the summer.

Broadcast Media Adviser

Kortney Holman, a business teacher at Liberty, co-teaches Broadcast Media with Mr. Hall. This is Holman’s fourth year at LHS and 11th year with Wentzville School District. She also teaches Personal Finance, Business Technology, and Creative Design Lab. Holman is also the adviser for FBLA, a club for students interested in business. She enjoys spending her free time watching her own kids play baseball and soccer.
