How do you feel about the school district’s decision to halt school until April 24?

“I mean of course it sucks, but I think it’s what is best right now. With all that is going on, that decision is probably the best to keep people safe and make sure that COVID-19 is contained as much as it can be.”

How has this virus affected your life (other than school) and what has family done in response?

“Corona has essentially put everything on pause. Everything has been canceled and I just have all of this unexpected free time that I don’t know what to do with and staying in the house every day seems to be fun but it gets a little tiring after a while. My family and I have been trying to go outside as little as possible and always make sure to wash our hands all the time. We’ve also been cleaning the house a lot in an effort to stay healthy.”

Looking at all the grocery stores, do you think some people’s response to this virus is necessary and why?

“I understand why people are freaking out but I feel like it may be a little excessive. Yes, of course, a lot of people will be getting more food since most of us are at home all day now. I feel like there are people who don’t get food because others are ‘stocking up’ and taking it all, which hurts these other people a lot and stuff like hand sanitizer and wipes I understand, but I just think that we also have to be considerate of others during these tough times.”
