Katie Harrison

Katie Harrison is a part of the Liberty Eagle Regiment and is involved in German Club. She will miss the welcoming environment of the school and all of the staff members as she believes they make Liberty what it is. She is most impacted by her involvement in marching band and her favorite memory comes from the last band competition of this school year in what she believes to be their best performance of the year. Harrison attributes much of her personal growth to band as well. “Before I marched, I was incredibly shy and insecure about my playing ability. I didn’t believe that I was skilled enough to make it on the snare line,” Harrison said. “But thanks to my band directors and all of my friends in the program, I’ve come out of my shell a lot and I’m now confident that I can play anything if I work hard enough.” After high school, Harrison plans to attend St. Charles Community College for two years and transfer to a four-year university to pursue a degree in physical therapy.
