- It was honestly such a bittersweet moment. I didn’t anticipate the Senior Sendoff to be as emotional as it was for me. Generally, I’m not one to get emotional but I most definitely did. As soon as I saw all of the proud teachers and families waving at us, I just started tearing up. I’ve had some of the most incredible teachers impact my life for the better and in that moment, it was just a lot to take in. It is sad to see the year ending as it did but I don’t regret anything. I think it’s important to make the most of the cards you’re given and that’s exactly what I did and what I’m going to continue to do.
- My favorite memory was probably the night of the Senior Sendoff. After the sendoff, I spent the rest of the day with my closet friends after not seeing them for months on end. I got to catch up with them and just have fun, which hasn’t been easy the last couple months. We had a little painting party and just talked the entire night; it truly is a night I will never forget. There were so many eventful things that happened that night and it’s created such happy memories for me. Also, the football games are memories I love to look back on because it was a night where all of your friends got together and celebrated our pride as a school. I’ve met amazing people at those games that I now call my best friends.
