1. How long have you been in quarantine? 

I have been in quarantine since Wednesday the 28th. So, about one and a half weeks.

2. Were you quarantined due to testing positive or contact tracing?

I was quarantined originally for contact tracing. Four days later I got a COVID test and tested positive the next day.

3. Have you exhibited symptoms?

I have shown multiple symptoms. I have had a really bad cough, irritated throat, headaches, and loss of taste AND smell.

4. Have you gotten a covid test? If so, were the results negative or positive?

I got a COVID test on Thursday, Oct. 29. I tested positive with COVID on Friday, Oct. 30.

5. How were you informed that you would be quarantined?

I never came into contact with anybody at school. I came into contact with someone that I was in direct contact with for more than three hours on Saturday, Oct. 24. I was informed by the owner of the house that their son tested positive.

6. How has your time in quarantine been?

It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. I’ve been sad, anxious and relieved about it throughout my quarantine.

7. Has it been hard to learn/participate in school while in quarantine?

It definitely has been very difficult to participate because I can’t hear or experience anything in class while everyone else not quarantined can. I am going to be drowning in make-up work that either I wasn’t able to do or was confused on how to do. I hope seeing my teachers in person will help clear up some confusion I have so I can clearly catch up.
