Game 5
Game 5 was another important one for both teams, and just like the last time the series was tied, the Dodgers came through with the win, picking up a 4-2 victory. Clayton Kershaw and Tyler Glasnow were back on the mound for the first time since game one, hoping to come through big for their teams. Kershaw most definitely came through for LA, pitching 5.2 innings and only giving up two runs on five hits while striking out six. Glasnow performed better than he did in Game 1, but still not as good as he had in the past, giving up four runs on six hits while striking out seven in five innings. The Rays bullpen once again managed to shut the Dodgers down, but the Rays offense couldn’t seem to get runs across the plate, not being able to score on the Dodgers bullpen. With this win, the Dodgers took a 3-2 series lead, meaning they are just one game away from being World Series Champions.
