In every senior class, there is always some type of trend. But this year, the seniors at Liberty decided to do “senior sweatpants.”

A popular trend that has been all over Tik Tok has caught on at Liberty.

Saylor Parks (12) and Sicily Trost (12) both made senior sweatpants for their senior year. High school seniors go to fabric stores and pick out patches and either glue, stitch, iron, or sew them on.

While last year the senior backpacks were the most trending this year, girls at Liberty had been inspired by their friends at Howell to go along with what they were doing by making sweatpants and making them their own.

“We got the idea from when all of our friends from howell did it, and we thought they were cute so we wanted to do them,” Parks said.

They might be planning to all do senior jeans at the end of the year, which are the same things as the sweatpants, but wearing jeans instead.

Every high school student looks forward to their freshman year to become older and be a senior and get to participate in all of the trends.
