Hailey Frocks tries new things and goes out of her comfort zone
September 19, 2016
Burst the bubble. This is what Hailey Forcks, a bubbly freshman and Liberty Belles dancer says about trying new things and going out of your comfort zone.
For Forcks, it was joining dance even though she was a new student to Liberty. Having practice since the beginning of summer made the still very hard transition a little easier because she got to be more familiar with the school and make friends on the team.
Who are some of her closest friends here so far?
“When you are a part of a sport or club, you bond,” Forcks said.
She already has made memories with her team including “NDA Dance Camp, eating pizza in the hall and late practices.”
Dancing is something very familiar and a blanket of comfort to Hailey as she has been dancing since she was just 3 years old.
It has been a dream of hers almost forever to be on a dance team and she plans to do it her whole high school career. It gives her Liberty Pride and inspires her to get good grades so she can stay on the team.
Joining the team has given her lifelong skills as a student and person.
“I gained a lot of confidence because I was scared to come to school,” Forcks said.
It also makes coming to school for her enjoyable and says if she wasn’t on the team school wouldn’t be fun.
