The homecoming game this year was a bittersweet day for senior football players and cheerleaders. For some players, this is just the beginning as they will be playing at the next level. However, for a majority of the seniors it is their last game playing in front of their school.

The Liberty Eagles hosted the Washington Blue Jays for the school’s homecoming game and senior night game. Washington won in an all around good game as the Liberty Eagles struggled to move the ball on offense.

With a final score 27-0, the score doesn’t do the game justice.

Liberty’s defense played a good game but wasn’t being helped by the offense as they kept turning the ball over giving Washington good field position.
