Winter Sweetheart Dance Rescheduled
Student Council postpones winter formal
Winter Formal is rescheduled for sometime in early February.

After coming back to school from another anticipated snow day, changes have been made for this weekend’s dance. The dance originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25, has been postponed to a later date.
Students who have already purchased a ticket can still use it for the new date which is yet to be announced. Students who wish to get a refund can do so by contacting Student Council advisor Ms. Holmes.
The dance was postponed due to weather conditions and a loss of preparation time.
“The new date will be scheduled sometime in the beginning of February before Valentine’s, and Valentine’s Day weekend at the latest,” junior Grace Pickering said, who is one of the StuCo members responsible for managing the dance.
No other changes will be made to the winter dance. The Student Council hopes that the change will be beneficial to students and allow for better planning.
“I want the attendance to be better and to have more time to promote and advertise the dance,” Pickering said.
