The Liberty swim and dive team came back to school as champions for the second season in a row.

The swim and dive team made out with a staggering score of 559 points, outdistancing Fort Zumwalt South who finished second place with a score of 362 points.

The Liberty swim team competed on the 7th and 9th of February, and came home with multiple wins: Eva Herling, Zoe Killingsworth, Lanni Guffey, Hannah Kerr, Bennett Outman, Lexi Guffey, Hallie Anderson, Abby Worobec, Catie Barrett, Rees Lewis, Alexis Riberts, Lexi Edwards, Dessa Outman, Marjori Russo, and Sarah Staats.

“We were all so excited, and it was the seniors last year so it was pretty cool being able to add a number to our banner,” Bennett Outman said.

The Liberty dive team competed on Feb. 8th, and brought back great success at the GAC’s. Megan McVey, Kaitlyn Hudson and Margaret Merz all had successful finishes at conference. This year is the first year to have a dive team at Liberty and they set the team at a great start.
