We see people every day wear different styles and setting different trends. Fashion simply starts with an idea that finally becomes a stunning creation.

People mix and match creations to become trendsetters. There are always fashion shows happening around the world, but there are certain fashion shows that simply can not be ignored. In the spring and fall, the fashion industry sets up an event called fashion week, where brands get to display their latest collections all over the world. This year’s fashion week started September 7th in New York and was finished October 6th in Paris.

Some the biggest moments that happened during fashion week was the Versace finale, Balenciaga platform crocs and Chanel’s waterfall background.

Sophomore Damonya Jones enjoyed the Versace finale.

“All the iconic supermodels walked down together down the runway to show pride,” Jones said.

The Versace finale included Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Naomi Campbell and Helena Christensen. The fierce models wore gold Versace gowns and walked down from a beautiful platform.

“I loved seeing the different trends through the the designers,” Jones said.

Fashion week was definitely a time to see all the trends and some great models.

Junior Anastasia Trares loves the model Cara Delevingne.

“I like her style because it’s different,” Trares said.

The biggest trendsetters are always different and that it what creates a trend. Now students may wait for the spring collection to see how it competes this year’s greatest looks of fashion week.
