On October 20th, the Eagle Regiment competed in a region wide event. There were 80 plus bands competing at the event. Each band had a different theme,

The Eagle Regiment’s theme was based on After World- Heaven to Hell. There were three movements that made up the performance: hell, purgatory and then heaven.

“We started out in hell, beginning as hell demons. Colors began dark then became light,” drum major Luke Carter said. “It was a nice contrast.”

Eagle Regiment rehearsed for many months in preparation for this event. “We were nervous but knew our strengths and weaknesses and we prepared as much as we could and did a good job,” Carter said.

Despite their nervousness, they were still able to enjoy themselves while competing with other schools.

“The competition was very tense especially when you have a new band that’s not as developed as bigger bands, but it overall, it was a great experience,” said Christian Tebeau .
