There are many varieties for breakfast at our own cafeteria. Students who eat breakfast make healthier choices throughout the rest of the day.

As you may have heard many times, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It’s the first thing you should do when you wake up every morning. But as you also may have heard, teens have been skipping out on breakfast. Could it be because they think it will help them have less weight? Or, is it because they simply feel they don’t have the time to make breakfast, while they are getting ready for school?

I feel this is a very important topic because it affects people’s health. Breakfast helps by giving energy, being more healthy, have more concentration, and could even help getting better grades.

To start, skipping breakfast is not healthy in any way. If anything, it’s worse. People who skip breakfast tend to have low blood sugar and that can cause hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia effects are dizziness, nausea, confusion, sweating, fatigue, etc. It’s really not fun to go through. The people who do eat breakfast though, actually make better and healthier food choices going on with their day, that actually helps lose weight.

It is a little harder to find a time to eat breakfast. I’ll admit. I skipped breakfast a few times cause I felt rushed to get ready for school. Eventually, I just felt sick to my stomach, dizzy, and really tired. I realized this was because I didn’t eat breakfast, like I should’ve been. I now find time in my morning to eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast. I wake up a few minutes earlier than I usually would to make eggs and other healthy options for my breakfast. Now that I eat breakfast, I have more energy than I would sleeping in a couple minutes more. I also have more concentration in school, get better grades, and I generally just have a better mood.

As you can see, eating breakfast is definitely much better than skipping it. Besides, who doesn’t want to eat a delicious breakfast, especially when it gives so many benefits in your day. There are all kinds of options for your breakfast wants. Eggs, oatmeal, toast, and pancakes. My point is there is no limit to breakfast, as long as you eat something in the morning, instead of skipping it.

It is better and healthier to take a little time out of your usual sleep hours, to make a simple breakfast in the morning. There is also a big variety of what you could eat for breakfast, but try to make healthy choices. Just remember, eating breakfast is healthier, beneficial, and tasty.
