Frontier Middle School will offer some new classes next school year.

Rumors have been going around that Frontier Middle is making some changes for next school year.

These changes include providing chromebooks to students and also adding foreign language classes.

Some Liberty students say how these new features will be beneficial for the middle schoolers.

“I think it will give them a head start,” junior Gabrielle Nettles said.

The rumors are true. The reason that the foreign language classes were added is to increase exposure for students to world language before high school. Also, to give them other elective options, and a taste of all three languages prior to making a choice of which class they’d like to take.

The students will also receive personal chromebooks.

“I think it will be an exciting opportunity for all of the kids,” Frontier principal Jeri LaBrot said.

Not all students are on board with this however.

Seventh grader Paige Powell prefers to not have those class choices because she feels it will be more work.

“I don’t feel like learning that yet,” Powell said.
