The Red Night basketball game is the last home regular season basketball game of the season.
The games are Wednesday, Feb. 20. The girls team is playing the Red Night game is at 6 p.m. and boys at 7:30 p.m. at Liberty against Washington High School.
At the end of the game one lucky student will get a pie slammed into their face.
Buttons were sold throughout lunches in the week of Feb. 11-14 buttons with teachers on each one.
All money made from selling buttons is for Coaches vs. Cancer which funds cancer research.
Educators Rising member, Julia Deters said, “Some teachers are even offering extra credit in their classes for buying a button.”
The buttons all have teachers pictures on them.
Whichever teacher’s button is the most sold, will be the teacher that gets to throw a pie at a student this Wednesday.
The student who gets pied will be selected randomly from the stands at the end of the Red Out Game.
It is a good cause and also a lot of fun.
