Everybody loves Chick-fil-A’s delicious chicken sandwich but ever since Popeyes came out with a new chicken sandwich on Aug. 12, everyone has been testing whether it’s better than the original Chick-fil-A sandwich.

The sandwiches have been on such high demand at Popeyes that they have completely sold out. Many were waiting in line for hours just to get the sandwich and someone even tried to sell a Popeyes chicken sandwich on Ebay for $7000.

The sandwiches were gone in less than two weeks and many weren’t happy about them being sold out.

Popeyes said they won’t be able to bring them back until some time in October. They announced that they are “working tirelessly” to get the sandwich back on the menus. It has generated $65 million in earned media value in the first two weeks. 

We asked two students which one they preferred. 

“Popeyes chicken is just more rich,” freshman Jayce Haun said.

“Chick-fil-a is 100% better,” freshman Charity Edney said.

So far it seems to be a tie between the two sandwiches.
