Liberty Track Athletes To Compete At State Meet In Jefferson City

The Class 5 sectional track and field meet was held in Mexico this past Monday, May 23. A total of 20 Liberty athletes were brought to compete against 18 different Missouri schools, all fighting for a state qualifying place. Out of the 20 Liberty competitors, seven athletes qualified to run at the state level on Saturday, May 28, with the addition of two alternates. Here are Liberty’s state qualifiers:
