Key club is always jumping on any chance they get to help out others.

Raising money for UNICEF (The United Nations Children’s Fund) for neonatal and maternity tetanus shots is just one of many charitable acts key club participates in. Key club has recently raised $978 with UNICEF for helping out these mothers and newborns.

Junior Jennifer Deters is one of the Key Club members who helped organize this project. She helped raise a large amount of the money.

“Raising all that money makes me feel proud because it’s going to such a good cause,” Deters said.

The money they have raised goes to UNICEF and they distribute the money for shots for mothers and newborns as needed.

AI classes were in competition to see who could raise the most money for this cause. Everyone came together and put their money together for this cause. Mr. Hall’s AI class won the donut party for the most money ($60.10) raised for this project.

“It feels so rewarding, getting people involved for a good cause and the satisfaction of knowing I have helped others,” junior Key Club member Christian Tebeau said.
