After Ms. Savannah Kruse graduated Liberty, she was asked to come back as a basketball coach. She fell in love with coaching, and decided to try and find a job at the school.
“I loved coaching so much, I figured that being in the school would be easier,” Kruse said.
She started working as a building assistant, and loved being in the school everyday. This inspired her to get her teaching degree.
One of Ms. Kruse’s biggest struggles in comparing her life to others.
“I think my biggest struggle in life is comparing my timeline with others,” Kruse said. “A lot of people my age are married, have kids, families, all of those things. I think comparing my journey to other people my age’s journey sometimes gets hard.”
Some positive things in Kruse’s life are reading and traveling. She said that traveling helps give her perspective and helps her to be more grateful.
As some parting words, Kruse shares her feelings.
“I would like people to know that if they ever need anything, they can come to me, whether they know me or not,” Kruse said. “Liberty High School is the best place to be.”
