ACT testing is an important step when preparing for the future. Most colleges and universities appreciate seeing that ACT score or even the SAT scores.
The score that you get on the ACT can really impact the future college for you. It tells the professors that you are either smart or not really fit for that school summed up in the least way possible. People may be scared because they think if they don’t get a 30 then they won’t get accepted into their dream school, but that isn’t necessarily true. However, some schools don’t necessarily require to see your score. And you might have done better than you thought.
There is no limit to how many times you can take this test. If you don’t like your score the first time, try again. Study more and do better. The highest score is a 36 and most schools want you to be in between 20-23. However, for more selective schools they want you in the 24-28 range, which will increase your chance at getting in.
At Liberty, there are two dates for the ACT: April 5 and May 3. The last day to register is March 16th. They are for sale for $99.
Seniors should definitely consider taking the ACT if they have not yet done so. Don’t miss your chance. It is a great back up deal. Some universities and colleges don’t want to see your score and some might, so it is good to just be prepared.
“I am not taking it this year, but I might take it next year,,” Allie Vining (11) said.
“I am not taking the ACT,” Annie Swift (11) said.
It is an important test that many students have yet to take, but if you’re planning on taking it now may be a good time to sign up.
