Hanging off the shoulders of friends while solving a Rubix cube to slideshows of embarrassing teacher photos, Mr. LHS was a night to remember not only for participants but for viewers too.

This year StuCo hosted the annual Mr. LHS on May, 6. at 7 p.m in the school auditorium. Hosted by Delaney Hilgenbrink (12) and Colin Ashby (10), contestants began the competition with a group dance, followed by their best pickup line, a lipsync, how they would look as a dad, and showing off their special talent.

To introduce each contestant, they were walked out by their designated escorts.

This year the four judges were Sarah Feddersen, Ellie Ulsas, Dan Wheeler, and Kenny Nowling.

After a close consideration, the judges discussed who should win Mr. LHS. After a five-minute intermission, they decided on Carson Scrogin was anointed as Mr. LHS. While the five minute intermission attendees scanned the QR code, they were able to vote for who they thought should win the Mr. Congeniality. After popular viewer vote, Owen Witte won Mr. Congeniality.
