Liberty High School students raise money to help support the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.

Liberty High Students worked together to raise over $600 in support of The United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. Ed Nelson, building principal, agreed to being duct taped to a wall in order to help raise money for the foundation in support of Nathan Laws, a freshman at Liberty who was diagnosed with Mitochondrial disease in elementary school.

For the past week, tickets have been on sale during lunch. For each ticket, you got a piece of tape to stretch over Nelson in hopes that he would be stuck to the wall. $600 later, Nelson couldn’t be held back.
