Football is a huge sport across the United States, and for Chase Alan (10), his whole family loves the sport. Chase plays wide receiver on the JV football team for the Eagles. His brother, Kingston Alan (11) is the main quarterback for the JV football team and the backup quarterback for the varsity team.
When Chase was only in first grade, his parents put him in football with his brother, Kingston. Kingston was in second grade and Chase played a year up to be with his brother.
Chase has looked up to his brother ever since he was little. Recently in the offseason, Chase has started to look up to Kingston even more.

“I looked up to him over this offseason because of the work he put in,” Chase said. “I got sick so I lost everything but he showed me that if you put in the work, you can be as good as you want.”
“I want to play better for him because he’s my little brother, I want him to look up to me,” Kingston said.
Chase and Kingston also have two little brothers, Graylan and Phoenix. Phoenix is only 1 1/2 years old but Graylan is in third grade. Graylan plays flag football for the Junior Eagles, where he plays receiver and running back. Just like how Chase looks up to Kingston, Graylan looks up to Chase.
“I’d probably say he looks up to me more just because I play receiver and basketball and he does too,” Chase said.
Chase and Kingston have a lot of advantages on the team because of their great bond they have with each other.
“It’s for sure an advantage having him on the field with me because we’re on the same page all the time and I know what he’s gonna do,” Kingston said.
Being brothers, the pair always compete with each other. At first, Chase asserted they were equally as competitive, but then Kingston suggested that he was more competitive than Chase.

“He’s lying. I mean, I thought it was equal, but if we’re catching strays, honestly I’m more competitive,” said Chase.
They also compete with each other in their favorite teams in the NFL. Chase’s favorite team is the Buffalo Bills and Kingston’s favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks. They are always rooting against each other.
Still, outside of football, Chase and Kingston have a bond like no other.
“We are everywhere together and his friends are my friends and my friends are his friends. We all hang out together and we’re not separate,” Chase said.
With Kingston being a year old than Chase, they will be separate when Kingston goes off to college. Chase wants to try and go to the same school as Kingston when he graduates, but if one of them gets a better scholarship than the other, he doesn’t know what he would do.
“It would be kind of weird because we’ve been on the same team since fifth grade up to now,” Chase said.
Chase and Kingston have been best friends since they were little and football is keeping their relationship strong.
