Noelle Wise (12) reflected on her time here at school as she prepares to graduate.
One thing she will really miss is the sense of community that has developed since her freshman year.
“When I smile at people in the hallway, most of them just smile back or go about their day,” Wise said. “I also love seeing others in the hallways complimenting each other as they walk from class to class.”
It’s heartwarming to know that as a senior, she recognizes how much Liberty has changed for the better over the years.
Throughout her high school journey, Wise had her parents by her side, supporting her, especially when times were challenging times. They were a big source of motivation for her.
“The idea of graduating really pushed me to keep working hard and finish my assignments. I wanted to graduate,” Wise said. That goal kept her focused, even when times got rough.
Outside of family and friends, Wise was an active participant in theater for all four years, working diligently on Costume Crew up until senior year, where she gave auditioning a shot, and has performed in this year’s musical and One Acts. Additionally, Noelle loves experimenting with makeup, from the SFX Frankenstein she became for Halloween using only eyeshadow, to full glam for others’ photoshoots.
Wise, essentially, loves to create. She wanted to make sure she could look back and say she accomplished her goals, and have something tangible to show for it. And her work does show. In every photo, every drawing, every painting, every sculpture.
Wise isn’t graduating without leaving something real behind.
As she steps into this new chapter of her life, Wise carries with her the lessons learned and the friendships made along the way. Her experiences here at Liberty have shaped her and given her a sense of pride in her school and her achievements. As she moves forward, those memories will remain a significant part of her journey.
