Which do you like better? Netflix or Hulu? Which has better shows and is cheaper?

People have many different opinions on this topic. There are pros and cons with Netflix and Hulu. This could be a pro or con depending on if you think it’s to expensive or not but both Netflix and Hulu cost $7.99 a month.

Some people say Netflix has a better variety of shows and no commercials and that’s why it’s better than Hulu. But others say half of the shows on Netflix aren’t good and no one wants to watch them.

“I like Netflix better than Hulu because there is a more variety of movies and shows plus no commercials,” said sophomore Madi Main.

There are about 6,494 movies and 1,609 T.V. shows on Netflix. That sounds like a good variety to me, but there are many shows that aren’t grabbing people’s attention and making them want to watch more or some T.V. shows with just one season. Netflix has 104 million members, also it is centered more on original programing and movies.

On the other hand, Hulu is more for T.V. shows and also has 12 million subscribers. Others may disagree and say that even though Hulu may have ads and commercials, it still has more interesting shows and movies.

“I like Hulu more than Netflix because I like to watch T.V. shows more than movies and there’s lots of them on Hulu,” said freshman Joey Fiordimondo.
