FBLA students compete and excel at their district-level competition.

Schools from across the Saint Charles County area competed in the Future Business Leaders of America district competition at Mid Rivers Mall on Feb. 9.

Whether collaborating in teams or speaking boldly on their own, each student provided their own stroke of persuasion, drawing them a step closer to security in a field dominated often by a sense of intimidation. These events focused on civility, ethics, and empowerment of the youth voice.

Kortney Holman, FBLA adviser, is proud of her students, and excited to see how they progress in later stages of the competition.

“Standing out, the Financial Planning Presentation got first place which is very impressive and I think they will place very high at state this April as well,” Holman said.

Below are the results of the 2026 district-level FBLA competition. Liberty qualified for state in eight events.

Our Goal

Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Beyond publications, Lorelei loves writing in all facets, from literary essays to slam poetry, and has found her haven in words. She is also involved as Drum Major of the marching band, Vice President of HOSA, Vice President of Key Club, and Treasurer of Earth Club, where she has met and worked with passionate, dedicated students from around the school. Lorelei can also be seen on stage as an actress in theater, and has recently gotten into a Welsh musical artist named Ren.
