A multitude of students went to the sold out Twenty One Pilots (TOP) concert Oct. 19 when the band visited St. Louis at the newly renamed Enterprise Center, formerly known as the Scottrade Center.

“The Banditos Tour” is going to perform over 60 times all over the world. “The Emotional Roadshow” came previously in 2016 and the new concert was very similar but even more amazing then before. One of the new additions was dropping down a long platform, and having the band members walk across it, right above the pit. Josh Dun, the drummer, also threw two drumsticks for a lucky member of the audience to keep.

Juniors Maggie Merz and Nicole Krohn were two of the fans within arms reach of the singer Tyler Joseph.

“I liked the Banditos Tour better than Emotional Roadshow because we were so much closer and it was so much more, real,” Merz said. “Taxi Cab was my favorite sad song and Ride was good too.”

This was Krohn’s first TOP concert and she was very excited.

“I almost touched him, we were so close,” Krohn said. “It’s definitely the best concert I’ve been to. Heathens was one of my favorite songs they played.”

Senior Jessica Gibson has been a fan of the band since seventh grade.

“I went with my friend Skylar Pinz. She graduated last year,” Gibson said. “I would go see them again, 100 percent.”

The new album that came out after one year of hiatus is loved by many fans. The band’s popularity will not die down any time soon.
