Liberty’s new fall play announced the production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged][revised].” This comedy was written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield. The show takes on all of Shakespeare’s 37 plays, and shortens and parodies them to fit in an hour and a half show.

The show will premiere on Thursday, Nov. 18 through Saturday, Nov. 20.

The house will be open at 6:30 p.m., and curtains rise at 7:00 p.m. The tickets will cost $5 online and $7 at the door.

The cast of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged]” consists of; Aicha Bey (11), Paige Bostic (12), Sean Bruce (12), Payton Busselman(11), Madeline Claravall (10), Isabella Geller (9), Ashley Haberberger (12), Connor Higlen (10), Jackson Martin (12), Alijah Riles (10), Shane Wolz (11) and Anna Wright (11).

This year’s comedy show is straying away from the usually serious shows the theater puts on. Student director and senior Amanda Yoder explains her excitement of doing a comedy show that consists of multitudes of serious plays. “It’s the combination of them having to do so many shows so quickly plus the personalities of each of the actors really shine through. It’s just very hilarious to watch.”
