Hard work and enthusiasm makes for a great group of students, especially students who are putting on a play based off the book, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything, which was performed on Tuesday, October 24th and Wednesday, October 25th during second hour in the auditorium.

The students have been rehearsing for the production for about a month and are very proud of the outcome. The production is about an old woman who travels into a wooded path near her cottage and as she is walking, she hears different sounds that could potentially come out and scare her.

Junior Alex Rozanc has spent much of his time rehearsing for his parts in the play and he’s happy to be apart of the making.

“We have spent about four to five weeks working on the play and I’m nervous but I get a little excited,” Rozanc said.

Sophomore Caileb Cronin, the narrator of the production, was first intrigued by the idea of the play and was excited for what it could turn into.

“I really wanted to be apart of this play because I got to narrate and I love narrating,” Cronin said. “Mrs. Kasper and Mrs. Whitmore both inspired me to be in the play, too.”

Cronin goes on to say how his motivation for wanting to join the All of Us Club was because of all the fun they get to have, and how he gets to know more and more people everyday, especially those who are also in the production with him.

Similarly, sophomore Tyler Jansen talks about his experience with the play and how he feels about performing it the day of.

“I’m nervous to perform but I am a little excited, too. I’m excited for my mom to see it,” Jansen said.

All of the students are feeling minimal nervousness because it’s overcome with all of their excitement and overjoyment with how the production is going to come out from all of their hard work over the past month.

Freshman Jake Houston is looking forward to having both of his parents proudly watching.

“I’m just excited about the play,” Houston said. “My mom and dad are going to come and watch it.”

This production has not only been a great Halloween story for all to hear, but it’s also been about the students bonding and getting to know other students, along with getting to experience performing in front of others.

It’s been a great involvement for all of the students and they are proud to know that their hard work helped build the making of this theatrical production.

The following students participated in the play: Callyiah Bell, Anna Benne, Caileb Cronin, Mike Halter, Carter Hayden, Jake Houston, Tyler Jansen, Ben Karhoff, Connor McNiff, Amber O’Donnell, Alex Rozanc, Jaccob Walker and Thomas Wiggins
