Girls Varsity Golf CANCELED

Due to flooding, girls varsity has to cancel their golf match

BREAKING NEWS:

The girls varsity golf varsity Knight Cup that started at 8 a.m. vs. Francis Howell North was canceled due to the immense amount of rain coming through the area around 9 a.m. at Links at Dardenne.

As soon as the team arrived, they realized that the course was flooded and there was no way for them to play on the course and is now heading back to Liberty.

One of the varsity players Lucy Bowen. “I was feeling sad because I was so excited to play in the tournament. The tournament uses a unique scoring system that we usually don’t get to play, which had the whole team excited to play.”

Hopefully the team can set this aside and win their next golf match coming up in the future.

Bradley Hudson is a senior and is in his first year in publications and he’s super excited to try different things. Bradley works at Pizza Hut and is soon going to be tutoring at an elementary school for A+. Bradley also does sports such as track and cross country he is training for a marathon soon that is in the fall. His hobbies include video games, running, and hanging out with friends and family. After high school he plans to go to community college to figure out what career he wants to do.

Caitlin McDonnell is a senior, and this will be her second year in Publications. Caitlin is the Talon’s Yearbook Photo Editor and is excited to help other photographers grow while also growing herself. Caitlin likes taking pictures of her friends, portraits, sports, theater, and other school events. She also enjoys reading and hanging out with friends. Caitlin is looking forward to a fun senior year full of many memories.
