Will Koester leads the students in “parting the red sea” on Liberty’s Red Night. The Eagles pick up their 17th win against the Bluejays with a packed student section.

Liberty finished off their homestand with a bang as they beat Washington High School in front of a big crowd on Red Night, 64-41. With this win, the Eagles improve their conference-best record to 7-0. This is the ninth time this season that the team’s defense has held their opponent point total under 50 points.

The Catchings brothers weren’t missing much of anything on the night as Kale scored 21 points and Jayce finishes with 18. The team all around played great basketball not letting their first quarter lead of 7 get any lower for the rest of the game.

Eagles improve their overall record to 17-6 going into the final few games before regular season end. Their next game is on Tuesday night at Francis Howell North High School taking on the Knights in a non-conference game at 6:30 p.m.
