Culinary 3, led by Ms. Pizzo, took a trip to the Randall Gallery in St. Louis for a charity event on Oct. 3. They were selected by the Missouri Restaurant Association to cater to a charity event for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Program. At this event, they raised over $90,000. They made various fall desserts including pumpkin balls. It took three days to cook everything and an hour to transport the baked goods. Normandy High School also participated in the event and made pasta.
