Who Was The Best Spider-Man?
After the recent release of ‘Spider-Man No Way Home’ there is a common question among Marvel Fans everywhere: Maguire, Garfield or Holland?

Although there are definitely similarities between all three Spider-Men, there are significant differences between them that fans have noticed throughout the many movies that change their perspective on who really is the best.
Tobey Maguire: In Sam Raimi’s trilogy, Maguire really portrays the awkward teenage side of Peter Parker and how he gets by in life. Even after the notorious spider bite, Maguire’s Parker continues to be the timid young man that he was before. It isn’t until the later movies, where Peter Parker starts to become more confident as the hero we all know and love.
While fans say Tobey Maguire is their favorite because he is the original Spider-Man, he is not my favorite Peter Parker. I felt like his spider form was not portrayed as much as it could have been. I also feel like I enjoy a more modernized and technical approach to the franchise.
Andrew Garfield: In the two-film series by Marc Webb, Andrew Garfield portrays a more confident attitude to the character. Some would even say his version of Peter Parker was “too cool” for how Peter is stereotypically. Even before his spider bite, Garfield’s Parker was much more assertive. After he learns of his new abilities, he uses it to his advantage in trying to find his Uncle Ben’s killer, which leads to his new crime fighting agenda.
Garfield’s Peter Parker had the least positive feedback, with only 6 percent of adults saying he did the best job. Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man was more accurate to how a real spider would defend themselves. From how he creates webs to how he crawls around villains, Andrew Garfield is my favorite Spider-Man because he created his webs, suit, strategy, and confidence.
Tom Holland: In Jon Watts’s Spider-Man story, Holland’s Peter Parker reveals a younger Spider-Man than the other two, starting when Peter was only 15 years old. Holland’s Parker is not only the hero but has his own hero to look up to, Tony Stark. Tom Holland creates a near-perfect mix of the two earlier Spider-Men. He is awkward as Peter as any teenager would be, yet a confident Spidey to aid the city when it’s in need.
Holland’s story doesn’t just end with Spider-Man single-handedly saving the day. He is accompanied by a team of heroes known as The Avengers. This showed fans how it isn’t a bad thing to ask for help. Fans of the Marvel Franchise who love the rest of The Avengers, are sure to love this series. This is not my favorite series because I enjoy the idea of Peter Parker figuring things out on his own.
Now it’s up to you to decide, who is your favorite Peter Parker and why?

Now why wasn’t Miles Morales in the Best Spiderman Poll. Seems racially motivated to me.
