“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is the newest MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and was released today in theaters across the world.

This movie will be focusing on Dr. Strange/Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and The Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). The movie will be going more into the multiverse, which was briefly talked about in the television series’ “Loki,” “What If?” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” In the newest Spiderman movie, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) was exposed as Spiderman and asked Dr. Strange to cast a spell to make it so no one remembered he was Spiderman, fumbled with the spell as the sorcerer casted it. By doing that, Parker ripped a hole into to the multiverse.

There have been six trailers released by the Marvel Official YouTube channel (1 official 2-minute trailer and 5 movie clips/sub trailers). From careful analysis, I was able to gather a few things.

First, it is obvious that there will be a Scarlet Witch variant and Dr. Strange variant. It seems that both of these variants are going to be on the villain/evil side. It also seems that Strange might have the time stone back, as he is spotted wearing the Eye of Agomotto.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is the sequel to the 2016 film, “Dr. Strange.” (Marvel Studios)

Since we’ll be taking a much bigger look at the multiverse, it has been rumored that Professor X (Patrick Stewart), who is from the X-Men movies, will be in the movie, as his voice could be heard in the trailer, if you listen close enough. Wanda’s kids, who were created in “WandaVision” when Wanda created a fake reality and made herself kids, will also be making an appearance.

There is also new character who will be making their debut in this movie— America Chavez, who can jump through different universes and is an ally of Strange.

Due to the shorter length of this movie, 2 hours and 6 minutes, it is likely that there will be a part two to this story.
