On Friday, May 6, students and teachers gathered in the auditorium to watch senior boys compete on the stage to gain the audience’s vote and be crowned Mr. LHS. By the end of the night, StuCo president Carson Clay was crowned Mr. LHS and Alex Fillner was crowned Mr. Congeniality.
“I felt very surprised about winning. Out of all the great contestants, I was very surprised and excited that I won,” Clay said.
Both students and teachers voted on who gave the best performance and was deserving of the title of Mr. LHS. Both votes were averaged to calculate who won the 2022 title.
“I have always wanted to win Mr. LHS because I just care so much about the school,” Clay states.
Mrs. Pizzo was one of the teachers who voted for Mr. LHS.
“It was hysterical,” she said. “I love it.”
