Anna Simms, Editor-in-Chief of LHStoday.org
Anna Simms is the editor-in-chief of LHStoday.org and this is her third year in publications. She is also in her senior year and second year at SCC. After high school, Anna plans on going to a university to study biomedical sciences, and later get a doctorate. She is also a part of Liberty’s drama club as an executive board member, and has done both acting and tech. Outside of school, you can find Anna either taking photos, editing, hanging out with friends, listening to music, or reading!
Liz Hayes, Editor-in-Chief of Broadcast Media
Liz Hayes is a senior and this is her fourth year in publications. She is the editor-in-chief of broadcast media where she produces “The Eagle’s Eye” as well as the livestream producer. She is also a reporter for the Talon yearbook and LHSToday. She enjoys listening to music and working on publications in her free time. Liz hopes to be a director for a living. Her dream school is NYU and she hopes to live in NYC during and after college.
Victoria Poeling, Reporter
Victoria Poeling is a senior in high school and is in her first year in broadcast media. Victoria dances at a studio and has since she was about 3 or 4 years old. She plays piano and loves to read and listen to music in her free time. She'll take any opportunity to go out with her friends and when she's not doing that she will often be at home watching a movie. She loves anything and everything to do with cars. Her hidden talent is painting and she has been in a couple of art shows over the past couple of years.
Lily Nelson, Reporter
Lily Nelson is a senior and this is her first time in a publications class. She is an athlete and it is her fourth year playing volleyball at Liberty and she is participating in track for the second year this spring. She had just moved to the school district freshman year. She went to a private school from first to third grade. Then after she attended the Francis Howell School District for five years, her parents wanted to move over to O’Fallon. She is currently employed at Top Golf as a food runner after taking a break from her job of almost three years at Sugarfire.
Zoe Snell, Feature Editor of Broadcast Media
Zoe Snell is a sophomore and it's her second year in journalism. Zoe started out in introduction to journalism last year and instantly fell in love with broadcasting. She went to several camps and even was the first freshman to go to the spring conference. Zoe is the feature producer for the broadcast class. Not only is Zoe a journalist, she has her own band that plays local gigs once a month, and she's on the color guard team.
Parker Sethaler, Reporter
Parker Sethaler is a senior, and is in his fourth year of publications. Making videos is his specialty, but he also writes stories. Parker currently has two jobs; one working at Dierbergs, and the other working at GymQuarters Gymnastics Center, where he coaches ninja courses. In his free time, Parker enjoys watching football or hanging out with his friends. In his future, he hopes to start his own videography business.
CJ Jefferson, Reporter
CJ Jefferson is a senior who is an athlete and participates in track. He gets along with people very well and is an open person. He’s moving to Texas for college and staying with his grandpa to get his finance degree. Also a fun fact about him is that he’s been playing the drums since he was 6.
Yudi Barcenas, Reporter
Yudi Barcenas is a sophomore at Liberty High and is her first year at publications. She likes Netflix, Chick fil a, and going shopping. She likes going to the gym after school. She’s a little shy at first but once you get to know her she tells you about everything and is confident around you.
Jamyla Roberson, Reporter
Jamyla Roberson is a junior and is in her first full year at Liberty. She’s from Hazelwood East High School. In her spare time, she loves to dance and cook for her family. She loves trying new things and meeting new people. She wants to be a criminal defense lawyer once she gets out of school.
