Sophomore McKenzy Akers plays trumpet during the annual winter band concert that was held on Dec. 5 in the auditorium. An array of classic holiday and Christmas songs were played by both concert and jazz band.

Our Goal

Your donation will support the student journalists of Liberty High School. For the 2025-26 school year, we are trying to purchase additional cameras and video equipment for our growing media program. We also plan to attend the national journalism conference in Orlando in November 2026.

Anna Simms is the editor-in-chief of LHStoday.org and this is her third year in publications. She is also in her senior year and second year at SCC. After high school, Anna plans on going to a university to study biomedical sciences, and later get a doctorate. She is also a part of Liberty’s drama club as an executive board member, and has done both acting and tech. Outside of school, you can find Anna either taking photos, editing, hanging out with friends, listening to music, or reading!
