FBLA is having a shoe drive fundraiser from Jan. 21 to March 14.
“The shoe drive is a way that our fundraising and community service groups of FBLA to work together on a joint project,” FBLA sponsor Mrs. Kortney Holman said.
The shoes are given to funds2orgs.com and FBLA will also make a little profit for hosting this event.
They have collection boxes around the school or you can drop them off in room 405.
“We were given the information from the FBLA National Chapter in order to work with our local community to benefit those in need,” Holman said.
This fundraiser supports FBLA’s initiatives but also promotes community involvement and sustainability.
FBLA has collected 70 pairs of shoes so far and their goal is 900 pairs by March 31.
So help out FBLA and donate gently used or new shoes, shoes for adults and children, all types of footwear: boots, sandals, tennis shoes, etc.
