The Ken Page Awards, (formerly known as “St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards”) are a yearly celebration of high school theatres across the state. Every year judges are sent to high school theatres across the state during their show nights to evaluate their productions. Announced on the news at the end of the school year are the nominees. From the costume design to the actors and actresses on stage, there are many different things they could be nominated for. After being nominated you then go to the award ceremony to find out if you won your category or categories.

This year, for the fourth year in a row, Liberty High School was nominated for at least one category. This year two students, Addison Haddock and Natalie Page were nominated for Outstanding Student Scenic Design and Execution.
“I’m really proud of the set and the people that worked together to make it successful,” Natalie Page (11) said.
Liberty Theatre is looking forward to seeing the results on May 28.
