The DJ is the heart and soul of homecoming.

You may of see a guy just walking around the stage at the homecoming dance. That was no other than Federko, the DJ.

Federko loves his job because he gets to do it everyday. If you had a request, Federko played it.

“I love music, love pumping up the crowd and it’s fun job to do,” Federko said.

McKayla Ormsby and Brandon Saluman both shared their thoughts on homecoming. Ormsby is a senior who has been to three homecomings at Liberty.

“Why not start the school year off with a dance?” Ormsby said. She also says that homecoming was good this year than the previous years because “it’s a good place to hang out with friends.”

Saluman is a sophomore and shared his thoughts on a possible theme for next year.

“NASCAR. NASCAR is very fun and lots of people will be here and will enjoy the theme,” Saluman said, “It was real fun and a good time and had a good theme to it,” Salumun said.

Assistant principal Ms. Sutherlin was very pleased with this year’s homecoming than the previous years.

“I liked how the DJ kept it upbeat and how he was interactive with the crowd,” Sutherlin said.
