The Wentzville School District Board of Education has built six snow days into the school 2020-2021 calendar. Additional days after the first six snow days will be utilized as at-home learning to prevent adding onto any more physical school days at the end of the year. What does this mean? There is a possibility for six snow days without having to come back to school (at least physically) at the end of the year. If needed, the at-home model will be similar to current Level 3 procedures with a few differences: 

• The classes will follow the typical bell schedule
• Teachers must be instructing live for a minimum of 35 minutes
• No academic intervention period on Wednesdays (follow MTTF times)

Below are significant dates for LHS students who will be physically returning on Jan. 4 to finish off the first semester and begin the second.

• 1/4 Back to school/Students Back in Session
• 1/7 Intruder Drill 10:30 a.m.
• 1/12 Sophomore – Class Ring Meeting – hand out info to AA students
• 1/14 Sophomore – Class Ring Meeting – hand out info to BB students
• 1/14 Finals Early Release
• 1/15 Finals Early Release/LAST day of 1st Semester
• 1/18 No School
• 1/19 PD Day
• 1/21 Sophomore- Order class rings during lunches 
• 1/21 Sophomore- Order class rings Evening hours 3-6p.m. – Any student and virtual

• 2/8 Late Start
• 2/8-2/12 School Counselor Appreciation Week
• 2/15 No School
• 2/16 PD Day

• 3/15 Fire Drill 1:10 p.m.
• 3/18 Early Release
• 3/18 END OF THIRD QUARTER CONTACT PARENTS REGARDING GRADES (no report cards will be sent out anymore regarding quarter grades—it will be the school’s responsibility to email/call parents at this time).
• 3/19-3/26 No School (Spring Break)
