There’s a new account going around school that students talking about. An Instagram account called @SnoringEagles features images of students who have been caught taking naps.

“It’s a nice little account to have fun on and make little jokes on your friends,” junior Rhett Cunningham said. Anyone can submit a picture of a student (or even a staff member) taking a snooze during the school day.

The person who runs the account chooses to be anonymous.

“It’s not because I care if people know its me, but because the principals may not like the fact that people are taking pictures of someone sleeping in class,” they said. “But it adds a little extra fun with it because I always hear people talking about the page not knowing that I’m the owner of the account.”

Hopefully, this account continues to become increasingly popular, and who knows maybe one day the owner may identify themselves.
